Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe had a wonderful breakfast at Korto and would highly recommend it. The food was excellent, I need to eat gluten free and the staff member serving us was very well informed and super helpful. The establishment itself was lovely and clean, and the staff were delightful. They were working really hard (it was a busy morning) yet still took the time to be personable and friendly. We will be back soon, and hope that Korto has the success it so rightly deserves.
We stumbled upon this gem on a Sunday walk between Capitol Gardens and Sunshine Garden Centre and stopped for lunch. What a find! Delicious and reasonably priced fresh food. Fried buttermilk chicken was excellent and coffee smelled very good, though didn't have any myself. Beautiful interior in rain or shine with very relaxed vibe and friendly service. Will be back.
Superb vegetarian breakfast. Generous and tasty with the right combination of elements. A real treat. I’m lucky this place is local but if not, I would definitely travel for this breakfast on the weekend. Great service too. Thanks Korto!
“Are you going to be good today?” Been here a few times, food is nice, the service is bizarrely bad though. Korto were unable to accommodate a booking but didn’t let us know until we had arrived at the restaurant (although they did offer to seat us in front of their fire exit). I had clearly communicated on the booking we were 6 people, each with a pram. The next time I went to Korto, the waiter asked me “are you going to be good today?” What an awful and gross way to speak to a customer. The eggs also weren’t cooked. Shame no one came over to the table to ask if everything was okay whilst we were eating. When I told the waiter about the eggs, he said I should I have said something. I replied that they should have been properly cooked. I was offered more eggs but we’d all finished eating and after the strange “are you going to be good today” question I just wanted to get out of there. Shame they didn’t comp the eggs dish.
We went for the last of (many) visits last Sunday and brought with a couple of friends over from Italy. Although not a surprise for us, we keep being impressed by the consistency of the the food quality, service and value for money...and our friends loved it! It is great to have this little gem just down the road, as it has never let us down once for either breakfast or lunch. We are looking forward to try out their new dinner menu as soon as we are back from our summer holidays.
