Sakata Bar & Grill - London

The sushi was good, although not the best I've had. I definitely plan on returning for dinner, but I am unsure if they are open for lunch.

I have dined at this restaurant twice in the past month. The food is incredibly fresh and unique. They offer iPads for ordering and service to take orders. Reservations are not accepted as the restaurant is very small, but there are some tables available outside on the terrace. The octopus is exquisite, the salmon sashimi is phenomenal, and the shrimp tempura is delicious. I also highly recommend the salmon tartare.

Came here to dinner and sit immediately from the waitress and gave an ipad like menu. so I decided for sapporo beer along with miso suppe, california roll and spicy salmon. miso was meh while both were rolling pretty good. the ambiente is in order and so. it was the service. all have just told a little more than $25. I'm back.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with a friend and we shared some sushi rolls and a bowl of ramen. The service was good and the sushi roll selection was not extensive, but we found a few that caught our interest. The flavors were fresh and the ingredients were well-balanced, with a decent portion size. The quality was better than all-you-can-eat sushi, and I would even say it was better than Ozen (although I didn't try many rolls at Ozen). The sashimi was the highlight of the meal, with fresh, tender, and flavorful fish. The mango shake was also delicious, with a beautiful and thick consistency. Overall, it was a very decent place to eat in London.

Two of us had lunch at Sakata. We ordered three types of sashimi, two maki rolls and a couple of beers. Our bill was almost $120 not including tip. Ouch...and the food was just so-so.
