Avaliação da contribuiçãoChose this place because of ratings and location. The only negative I have is the odor that you notice when you walk in. It's quite over-powering when you first get in, stale beer maybe; but dissipates over time. Waitress took time to make great suggestions for us, and the food was great. The 3 fish tacos were vert tasty with a nice kick to them, and very filling. My son had the pulled pork sandwich. He liked it, but said it had a bit too much bbq sauce on it for his liking though. Might stop in again when in London next time.
Husband & I chose this on our road trip between Niagra & Windsor. Waitress was very friendly & helpful with menu specials & selections. DH had the gumbo & while he said it was good, it was very different than what he is use to in TX. I tried the special of riblets & again they were tasty, but not the fall off the bone ribs back home. Over all atmosphere was nice & food is moderately priced.
I enjoy this place, the food is always very good and quite inexpensive. I had a homemade 3/4 lb burger with cheese and onion rings with fries and I believe it was $9. My wife had wings and riblets with fries for around the same price. Great service. They are doing renovations soon, I'll be happy to see the new place with the great food next time I'm in london
Our family stayed at the Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn on July 1st as a half way point between home and Niagara Falls. On the way to the hotel, I searched TripAdvisor for a nearby pub with good food, and that's exactly what it was! We just walked there because it was so close to the hotel. Everyone ordered something different and we were all happy with the food, it was very good. Kids got soft drinks and my husband and I both had two beers and the whole bill only came out to about $65 CAD. Would definitely return here if in the area.
My Mom is in the hospital on London for a while, so we have been there a lot lately. I really hate chain restaurants, so the Dawn house looked lime a good one to try...local joint. They did not disappoint. There three of us there around 9 PM on Tuesday June 28. They had a Tuesday special for all you can eat riblets and I had asparagus soup as a side. The soup was piping hot and the ribs were awesome. It also came with some very tasty homemade coleslaw. My wife had an Asian stir fry over noodles, which came with fortune cookie, and my daughter had one of their wraps with a salad. Both were thoroughly enjoyed. I am upset I did not take the time to get the name of our waitress. She was excellent. Best service I have has at any Restaurant in some time. I highly recommend this place to anyone and we will DEFINITELY be going back.
