Born and raised in this neighborhood but never tried until today. Wish I had come earlier. It 's a very warm, cozy atmosphere. You can feel immediately that every other patron has been there multiple times already. It seems the go-to order is a special and an egg , which is a sandwich/sliced hot dog, and a pickled egg that comes with peperoncinos and pretzels. Not the most complex of cuisines but it sure has a comforting taste.

Always a great experience at this iconic Long Beach establishment. The service is always awesome and of course the ice cold beer and pickled eggs never disappoint

My first visit to this legendary watering hole and it exceeded my expectations. Good food at very good prices and as an added bonus a very fine selection of craft brews on tap. And a surprise bonus is the to-die-for pickled eggs. Awesome! Came back again for some more pickled eggs and great beer. Had a wonderful spicy cajun hotdog today. Can't wait to come back.

Great place for beer and pickled eggs!! Great service, the bar tenders are attentive and always nice !!! Also the patrons are great to talk to!! If you want great beer and a place to enjoy the people, this is the place!!!
