This place used to be called Corazon De Cuba, and it used to be great. However, the food quality dropped immensely and is awful I ended up throwing it out. I won't be ordering from here again and will be going to the Corazon De Cuba Taqueria.
I tried this place for the first time today, and I absolutely loved it! I ordered steak and cauliflower tacos and thought they were great. I also loved how they paired plantain chips instead of tortilla chips with the guacamole as an appetizer. Really nice vibe and in a great location. I will definitely be coming back!
Where to start? Living in the West End has its perks and its detriments as there is always something going on... but there is always something going on. I work remote so alot of the times I end up finding a spot to sit and do some work while not loosing my mind being in my house all the time. Corazon de Cuba is that spot. Its chill, the staff is super friendly; Shout out to Satch, Tina, Nacho, Orlando, and Ryan (AKA Ralph) for always being on point by providing great company and service. Armando has created a great place to enjoy some great food, awesome drinks and a chill vibe. Personal favorites for food are def the Cheese Empanada, Hongos Taco, Poke Taco, and the Pescadito Taco. Top it off with a few shots of Tequila and a Rum Punch and its a good time!
Cool spot to try out if you're in the area, but wouldn't go out the way. The service and drinks here are on point. But the food is a bit flavorless to me. The chips (banana chips) and guac was a no for me and the Arroz con Pollo was just alright. DJ on the 1's 2's on Friday night which makes the experience doable, along with those drinks. I recommend the best Mojito and/or Margarita you ever had (literally named that) and a drink called the painkiller. Really good!
