Avaliação da contribuiçãoWas in Longmont for vacation and sampled the whiskey at Abbott and Wallace for the first time, after visiting the cidery next door. I am a professional distiller and can confidently say that they are making great whiskey here. Samples were poured in appropriate glen cairn glasses for proper nosing and tasting. Dark amber color, floral nose with slight honeysuckle. The oils drip down the glass forever like waterfalls. It might be young in age but tastes fully mature. I was a bigger fan of the single barrel straight bourbon that I tried over the house blend due to it losing the uniqueness of flavors from the still here. The Rye was equally as good for its respective category. Music was loud though. Was able to sit outside on a nice day to avoid as much noise. Nathan was super helpful and kind. Will hopefully be able to come back.
Had a nice chat with one of the owners who gave us some background on how they got started and where they originated. Got some samples and were impressed with their canned mixes and straight liquors enough to buy a couple on the spot! Nice facility too!
Such an AMAZING place!!! Literally a gem in Colorado. The drinks are a combination of delicious flavors, creative ideas and a bunch of organic great tasting ingredients. The bartender and the owner were super nice and were able to answer our questions about the drinks and shared a lot of stories. Our friends visiting from California had a blast! Make sure to get one of their signature drinks (my favorite was The Ginsberg, the picture captures the Monet’s Garden) and invite your friends there for a nice fun experience!
Excellent Distillery in Longmont. Have the Bartenders create a sample platter of there favorite options. It will not disappoint. Great vibes and good music. The Speak Easy lounge in the back is a great place to hangout and talk and get to know someone better.
My favorite cocktails in Longmont. Love how they change up the menu every few months! The bartenders know what they’re doing.
