It took about 15 minutes for our server to come to our table after we were seated. There was only one server taking care of about six or seven tables. The food was good, but they forgot to bring the toast that was supposed to come with my meal. It took an additional 10 minutes and two inquiries before we finally got it. We also had to repeatedly ask for napkins, an extra glass, and water. They really need to hire more servers, especially on weekends. It seemed like other tables that arrived after us got their food before we did, even though we didn't order anything that would take a long time to prepare. We ordered a breakfast skillet and a side of pancakes with bacon. Despite the service issues, I did enjoy the food. The prices were reasonable, but the service definitely needs improvement. We were not asked if we wanted dessert before the check was brought to us. I ended up getting a slice of pie to go.
This restaurant doesn't have a fancy atmosphere, with plain decor. However, I was impressed with the tuna sandwich and boysenberry pie that I ordered - they were both excellent. They offer sandwiches, appetizers, salads, entrees, and beer. I want to give a shout out to Kelley, who was my excellent server.
We had a delicious breakfast at this restaurant. We also purchased a pie to take with us. The baked goods were excellent. However, the service was a bit slow. It appeared that there was a shortage of staff, which resulted in one waiter having to serve too many tables.
They have the best pastry counter but the sit down restaurant is classic. The best holiday pancakes! They had a gingerbread pancake with cinnamon whipped cream top, oh my jeezus!
A nice neighborhood diner. My mom enjoyed the Turkey sandwich we shared. We agreed adding avocado and bacon was the move.
