Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe loved it! We're from out of town and dined there twice, even though there were plenty of good restaurants in the area.
I absolutely adored everything about the restaurant... until I discovered a hair in my food. That completely ruined the experience for me, and I ended up leaving. It was especially disappointing because it was my first real date with my partner without the kids.
The food is similar to what you’d find at any other El Nopal—delicious and offered at a reasonable price. For some reason, this location seems to be less crowded than others.
We ordered on DoorDash and spent $40 on 2 meals. As a previous waitstaff employee, I understand that employees don’t make tips off of DoorDash and it’s kind of a pain in the butt. However, the way we were treated by this location was abhorrent. My boyfriend ordered the tacos de asada which is described as being served with pico de gallo and tomatillo sauce. The order arrived and it was only chicken on a tortilla. Mistakes happen, but this is not the first time this mistake has been made from this location for us. He called and asked to file a complaint and the phone was handed to a man who immediately had a sour attitude. he advised us that on DoorDash, the restaurant is unable to see the specific toppings on orders. That’s understandable but if that’s the case then your location does not need to be delivering through DoorDash. Additionally, while this order has been wrong in the past, there are times that it has been perfect. What’s preventing them from uniformity? Even if what the manager said is the case, which it very well may be, it is certainly not our fault. We spent $20 on those three tacos just for essentially an overpriced plain chicken sandwich. The man advised my boyfriend to not be rude while he was simply airing his concerns. Afterwards, when he said that remaking the tacos was pointless as we ordered delivery anyways, the manager abruptly hung up on him. All in all, the mistakes made on the order would not be a big deal had there been some level of empathy and accountability from the establishment that made $40 from our disappointment. You may eat here and love the food but on the off chance that you don’t, I wouldn’t recommend eating here.
Ive been coming here for years with my whole family, Never had any issues besides under cooked rice a few times… I ordered tonight and the lady didnt give me my total when we got off the phone, i figured it’s usually around 50-60$ anyways so i brought 60$. When i get there my total is much more than i expected so i look at the receipt, they inform me that the menu online does not have the correct prices. The enchiladas say 10$ online but are 14$ actually. The Monicas platter is 14$ online but really its 18 even more for shrimp. Because i went off the online prices and the woman on the phone didnt give me my total, I didnt have enough money with me. They didnt honor the price from online so I had to go home to get more money, but after having to go back home I really didnt feel comfortable leaving my food there after having to talk about the prices and they kept reassuring me “we aren’t trying to rip you off” i knew that, but I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my food after that, so I just went somewhere else instead. They should honor the online price, or take it off so there is no confusion. Also, the prices have risen so much its just not affordable anymore. Its 14$ for a bowl of cheese. The people are great, the food is great. But tonight was a little bit disappointing.
