I love this place. So old fashioned and English. If you are sick of hipster-trendy hotels that's where you go. They can have all my stars.

What a lovely hotel This hotel offers many activities such as clay pigeon shooting, archery, falconry, golf, spa treatments etc.

Food was top-notch french. Portions just right as very richly prepped. No space for dessert which we did share between us.

As good as ever. Just a shame we had a VERY noisy table next to us and could not hear each other speak with out raising our voices. time this has ever happened.

Quality of food is normal not great. My reservation was not found though I did make it. We were given a table as there were plenty tables available.
