The pavillon is a fantastic hotel, very nice and the fabulous pool to relax after the experiences in Luxor, we had a great time, the staff were very kind and helpful. We also tried the Corniche restaurant, with medium-high level cuisine by Egyptian standards Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Quiet, Great value

We had a lovely and pleasant 5 day stay at the Pavillion of the Winter Palace one of the better hotels on out trip to Egypt. The lush gardens and large pool of the Winter Palace are an oasis of peace and quiet after visiting the wonderful tombes and temples of Luxor. The hotel is centrally situated, walking distance to the downtown restaurants and cafes, the Nile corniche pleasant boulevard to stroll Luxor Temple and museum and the souq. The rooms are a bit outdated and oldfashioned, but very spacious, clean and with a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice and good service. Would definitely recommend to stay here when in Luxor!
