The food was pretty good! Better than most places where I was, above average Mexican food. Chicken Enchiladas with cheese recommended above. Husband had shredded / chopped beef Burrito. Very delicious beef. Chips and salsa were better than most places where we were. Salsa light kick, just enough. If I had tried tamale, when I was a fan of Tamalees, I'd always find good versions. They were outside. Waiter said they're running fast. That must mean they're good! I have to go back and try. I'll call before the time to make sure they don't run out when I get there. Definitely keep this family restaurant on our list of food options during the trip as it is nice to get some real food on our stomach. The place is not spotless, but better than a hole in the wall. It's also worth eating. Come here for dinner!

After more than a year without a decent Mexican restaurant this place was a lucky find. Do yourself a favor and go for the stuffed pablanos. They are FABULOUS! The enchiladas are also terrific. Even the beans are worth a trip. It's a homey atmosphere and family run, so exactly what a good Mexican food place should be.

They where very polite and knew the menu. They presentation of the food was phenomenal. When I started to taste the omg wow this is really authentic mexican food experience. I really enjoyed it and will always come back on my way to the beach. Thank you guys I really enjoyed my meal. It might be better than old Mexico on the gulf. Which Mexican food is my Favorite and wow. They are really good again thank you for my Mexican food experience! Loved it

Nice, small family restaurant that offers authentic Mexican cuisine. Near the I-10 Interstate provides for great convenience for travelers. Service is friendly and warm. Food is delicious with industry-standard prices. 10/10 would recommend for a quick bite or if you're in the mood for Mexican.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming, as it's a family-owned and operated establishment. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Everything was freshly prepared and served piping hot. If they offered margaritas, I would definitely give them 10 stars! I really enjoyed my lunch and plan to return in the future.
