Steak 'n Shake - Madrid

Hamburger is tasty, much better than other fast food burger places. They now include fries with burger. Still a bit more expensive than other buyer places. I missed free refill with fountain drinks but they don't do it.

The place was surprisingly empty during lunch, and there’s been some changes to the menu (all burger orders now come with fries . Food was served fast service was efficient polite. The burgers were not bad (tasty moist patties but what another reviewer mentioned about the oil was true. I had a mushroom Swiss burger toward the end at the bottom of the pale holding the burger was a big pool of oil that finally broke through the paper trickle down my fingers.. we paid to upgrade to cheese fries (recommended! and another flavor fries, both were nice enough for string fries. All in all, it’s nice but not the best burgers in town compared to others in a similar price range. If the price was lower I wouldn’t be comparing it to burnout, five guys, steakburger etc would have given it 4 stars for the taste

Went tonight using a Groupon voucher , could only order selected menu but plenty of choice. Restaurant needs a make over chairs threadbare. Now on to the food....omg it was absolutely fantastic, burgers the best I’ve had in ages, juicy tender, fries nice and hot and good to eat. Pity we don’t live closer as would go again

I was shocked to see a piece of home in MadridMy mom loves this place and we used to eat here a lot as a child.

While in Madrid I was craving burgers and friesI found this spot near the place we were staying atThe burgers are what I find back in the states.
