Avaliação da contribuiçãoA highly recommended nyonya restaurant. Spacious connection and clean kitchen, lots of parking. Eating is great. We ordered pineapple prawn curry, chap chai, brinjal and sek bak. My children like the curry and surprisingly can also eat children. Thumbs for the service, but I doubt and please do not expect fast service if it is overcrowded. I hope you will maintain the food and service standards.
Our first time here. You don't take walk-ins when we went there, but thanks to our friend already made a reservation. Super friendly and attentive service. The place looks new and clean. The dishes we ordered were not all their signatures, but it was so good!
Overall experience here was definitely pleasant. The environment was clean, bright and cozy. Modified by an old school double house, the dining area was spacious and yet comfortable. The food was tasteful, one of the most authentic baba nyonya cuisine I've ever tasted. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. The price is easy on the expensive side, but justified for the large parts. Would recommend going with 3 to 4 dishes that could easily be enough 4 pax. The service was good, the staff were friendly. Just suggesting that I would offer is to train the waiters better than to give recommendations and explain the dishes to create more variety and at the same time avoid similarities in the courts.
Best Cendol in town. Ayam Goreng berlada, Ayam rendang, homemade pineapple biscuit tastes good. Nanas udang Taste Average, Telur cincaluk very salty, taufu sumbat not good. Make sure reserve in advance. Boss very kind. Toilet cannot rinse water. Many parking spaces.
Superb dishes! Repeat visit since last trip. Dishes which my family loves (few to mention): 1)Ayam goreng berlada lots of aromantics stir fry with fried chicken. 2)Turmeric fried chicken wings (bigger portion as very yummy) kids and even adults favourite. Nicely seasoned and crispy! 3)Lemak Udang Nenas big prawns were used and the gravy, addictive! Tangy and milky! 4)Ikan Assam pedas generous amount of fish, fresh and cooked just right. Gravy is addictive, couldn’t stop drinking. 5)Soup ltik Tim classic peranakan. Very comforting. Not overly salty. 6)Telur tried the Lap Cheong and 2nd visit the subsequent day tried the fried egg. Good wok hei, kids favourite. 7)Sayur chap chai another classic peranakan. Complimenting other dishes. 8)Sambal sotong sotong cooked nicely, tender and slightly chewy. Sambal was so good, couldn’t resist eating it with rice. Baba Ang has general seating 1 private room on the first floor and 3 private rooms on the second floor. Place is neat, clean and nicely decorated with peranakan flavours. Kitchen is an open concept, clean and tidy. To avoid disappointment as they book out quickly, do reserve a table beforehand.
