Just tried them for the first time at Marymoor Park. I used to live in Louisiana and haven’t had a good beignet since I was a kid. These were fluffy and had a good flavor. I will definitely return to them in the future
I don 't eat meat. I am used to food trucks having the vegetarian consolation prize offering, but the portabello Po 'boy at 'Where Ya At Matt ' was excellent. Flavorful, perfectly sauced, nice bread- it was not a vegetarian letdown! It was great food!
I tried the food truck at Chuck's hop shop. The shrimp Po boy is pretty good, nice French bread and fried shrimp but too saucy with mayo and pickles. I also got the cheesy grits but they're not like what I've had in the South. The beignets were alright but kinda doughy. Overall pretty average for creole food.
A very pleasant surprise. The highland Park Corner Store host several excellent food trucks, but this was one of the best! Very organized taking orders and getting the food out. We had the Shrimp Po'boy, Jambalaya, Shrimp and Grits, and pumpkin pie. The shrimp was perfectly breaded and cooked, and the grits were so creamy (something that I have not perfected so it was a treat). We are not experts in Creole flavors but wow, all the flavors were a treat. Excellent!
