Scampston Walled Garden Cafe - Malton

Glorious day for the annual sale after a cold wet day last year. many stands and a large mix of plants in offer. the walled garden was beautiful under the magnificent sunshine and worth a visit. visit them in juni to see the gardens coming in blossom. beautiful staff and a really good caffe as well

We visited the gardens today. They were absolutely stunning. So well kept and full of colour. The yews and hedges were so beautifully clipped. We enjoyed the cafe, and we also walked all around the park. What a lovely place. A most beautiful walled garden. Very different .

Wonderful Walled garden, very different, and certainly worth visiting. Good cafe serving fresh food and a walk around the park landscaped by Capability Brown is well worthwhile

Stunning gardens beautifully kept, helpful staff, lovely café and delicious food with indoor and outdoor seating and excellent toilets and disabled toilet. Very healthy plants on sale all grown there. A fabulous day out except for one thing no outdoor seats at all except a very small number in the walled garden. Seats are needed desperately to enable to sit and admire the view and especially for the retired people and disabled walking round. There are guided tours of the house but it was fully booked when we arrived.

What a beautiful garden! We definitely plan to return to admire the plants and flowers. The café was also excellent.
