Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe visited Mr Thomas's to celebrate our daughters a-level results and for the most part the food was okay with a couple of exceptions. My wife's starter arrived when everyone else had finished theirs so when her plate was cleared her main arrived immediately. The barnsley chop was quite nice but came with nothing you had to order side dishes separately. My daughters steak was tough dry and unfortunately when we were leaving we saw one of the waiters returning from Tesco with a packet of steak. We were asked at the beginning if we would like water and asked for 2 lots, when it arrived it was 2 bottles which cost £4.25 each plus tip !!!! For the most part the food was okay but a little overpriced and I wouldn't consider it good value for money.
The food was nice and the tiled interior was in keeping with the Victorian chop house theme. Just the food was quite slow in coming out.
The staff were very friendly and patient with me as I tried to make up my mind about where to sit. Excellent food, interesting 1980's soundtrack. Loved the architecture and the location.
Had a really nice steak here on a Saturday night. Service was just a little bit slow no one seemed to be collecting diners from the service point. Would recommend though.
We had a wonderful late Sunday lunch at this restaurant. I ordered the beef very rare and it was cooked perfectly, even though it was 7pm. This was not my first time dining here and I have always had a great experience.
