Omakase - Mandaluyong

One of my friends' favourite restaurant is Omakase in Greenhills. We got there late and were actually the last customers to leave before closing. The staff were friendly, accommodating and attentive. Service was very good. The food also did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was nicely presented. The surroundings were clean. We would definitely go back again!

Small but pretty set up. The food was very good and presentation is just lovely. The portions are good sizes. Sashimi was super fresh, chicken teriyaki is very tasty, baked oyster also good, grape juice. The service prompt and attentive. Bottomless tea is just right

We went here yesterday to have lunch and we ordered for gyudon, sushi boat, salmon sashimi, tonkotsudon and karekatsu and we were food poisoned! We were nauseous 3hrs after eating then after 12hrs we suffered from vomitting and diarrhea. I swear never to go back to that place ever again! Im still vomitting up until now!!

I had arrived last July 9th and my sister took me to Omakase for dinner the next evening. I was hungry. We had to wait for 25 minutes before we were seated. I am narrowing this review on what I had ordered for the evening. Got the obligatory ripe mango shake, vegetable tempura and teriyaki chicken bento box. The mango shake was slightly sour. The vegetable tempura was cold and not as fluffy compared to what I have had in the past at other Japanese restaurants. The teriyaki chicken bento box was normal sized but the teriyaki chicken portion was puny! It looked more like a child's meal portion!
