Bourbon Baker - Manhattan

Didn't expect the liquor prices to be outrageous. Sorry I just can't understand these prices per 1 or 2 oz so I skipped that aspect. We weren't too impressed with the food either. Food prices were a bit high as well. Chicken and waffles and chicken and biscuits. Also tried the duck fat fries. I see so many people loving the food in these reviews. I guess it's just not for me. Not too big on hot sauce being mixed in with syrup and the chicken was so hard and crispy I was afraid of breaking a molar. The waffles were fantastic for the parts that didn't have hot sauce on them. The duck fat fries were also a bit hard and I found the sauce just void of flavor.

An absolute wow! Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while visiting Manhattan Kansas. They're bourbon selection is amazing but the food is astounding. Their personal takes on a variety of traditional appetizers and comfort food is delectable. Every time I visit Manhattan Kansas, this establishment will be a must visit. Don't skip the desserts!!!

Went to Bourbon and Baker with some family, including a two year old toddler. The food was quick and very delicious! The service was great. They grabbed a barstool and a booster seat for my two year old nephew, and he had a good time. Would recommend to anyone in the area that hasn't had a chance to visit the restaurant.

Women have this habit of sharing plates because we just want a taste of that... who cares why. But THIS is THE PLACE to do just that!!! Half of their menu has small plates of savory dishes to try!! There is also a section for those looking for a full plate and don 't want to share, too. Everything I have tried has been absolutely remarkable. I highly recommend that you walk to the Bakery in the back to pick out some delicious treats to take home first... then, go have a tasting! Oh and the selection of bourbons and whiskeys is quite extensive, too!!! Ask to try the Whiskey Rita and the Whiskey Punch they have on tap and also canned to go. Both are refreshing!

Good is pricey for the portions but it makes up for it with taste.
