Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis spot on the front lower level in Puerto de la Duquesa has been a number of different restaurants or bars. Still under the same owner, it has undergone a re-vamp and is now trading under the same name, Passion Bistro, but doing a range of tapas dishes. We went last night and were really impressed. Inside is much more welcoming and you still have the opportunity of sitting outside as well. The location is excellent, with great views of the boats in the marina. The food was simply excellent, we had goats cheese, ribs, chicken skewers and chicken quesadillas. Everything was well priced and they even serve half bottles of red and white wine which was great as we had different tastes in wine on this occasion. If you pass here and think that it is the same old Passion Bistro, have a closer look, better still go in and try it.
We had a lovely evening at Passion the Tapas was wonderful and worth every penny. The young girl serving us was very good and our granddaughter was having fun with her. I have to thank the other young lady who went to another of Zack’s Cafes to get our granddaughter some biscuits which she loved. Thanks again all.
We frequently visit this local port and I am always wanting a seafood paella but my husband won’t eat fish...well Passion Bistro have fulfilled this now as they do paella for one....waheyyy!! They even did a chicken and chorizo one for my husband. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the staff were very attentive. Looking forward to returning in the near future!
Total of five friends three ordered a la carte and two of us the Holiday Xmas Menu. Asked that a steak for one of the party be served with the starters due to personal circumstances. The steak looked good the prawn cocktails of the set menus lacked taste and sauce. Next the steaks of the set menu were smaller and overdone even though we pre asked them to be medium. My companion choose to eat his I asked for another steak a bit better but no comparison to the a la carte steak. The dessert was the best bit of the meal a strawberry cheesecake. Service was slow between courses and not because the restaurant was full just lack of coordination. A special night ruined and did not stay to see in the New Year.
My wife and I had an evening meal. It 's a well located restaurant, with great views of the port and ideal for people watching. The menu was good and varied and the food was of good quality. I have minor criticism of the staff, they 're a bit too 'friendly and attentive to almost the point of being a nuisance, hovering nearby and asking if you want another drink seconds after your put your glass down. The waitress popped up to move my wife 's drink because it was close to her hand when she was cutting her food. Finally, and a bit concerning, when the bill arrived, it was twice what I was expecting it to be. Right at the bottom of the items listed was something like Xmas Meal Deal 30 Euros!! When I questioned it, the waitresses reaction was a bit of an over reaction, even summoning a colleague so they could both look at the bill in disbelief together. Adding to my suspicions was the fact that when we first were seated, I 'm sure I overheard another customer asking the waitress about the same item on their bill. The error was rectified immediately and apologies were quickly made, but the episode left me feeling I was nearly ripped off, possibly deliberately.
