Bungalow Inn - Manistee

Bungalow offers a fantastic breakfast at very reasonable prices! While I wasn't particularly impressed with the country fried steak—I found it had a somewhat fishy taste—I still ate it. It could just be my palate, though. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. The only downside is that breakfast is only available until 11 am on weekdays, so be sure to arrive before then if you want to enjoy it! Additionally, in my opinion, they serve the best coffee in town for a restaurant.

I had some of the best salmon I've ever tasted here. My friends ordered the walleye and ribs, and they raved about how delicious they were. The food was fantastic, and the service was prompt. My drink never even got a chance to get empty! Despite the restaurant being very busy, the food came out hot and quickly. If you're in the area, this place is definitely a must-visit!

This restaurant is a dependable choice for a satisfying meal. I've had both breakfast and dinner here, and I've enjoyed them both. They boast a spacious bar area and a good-sized dining room. While the decor could benefit from a bit of updating, it’s not a significant issue. My only suggestion would be to improve the acoustics, as noise tends to bounce around, making it challenging to hear when the place is busy.

First off, it seemed like the waitress forgot to put our order in as there were multiple parties with more people who had the same waitress, ordered later and got their food earlier. Next the country skillet was small, the peppers were not cooked, andthe dish was cold. The loaded and biscuits and gravy were alright, but the gravy was definitely canned and there was hardly anybacon in them, mostly hash browns. Finally, the pancakes were not cooked all the way, the strawberries weren't great, and thesyrup, despite saying on the menu it was maple syrup, tasted like dollar-store sugar syrup.

It was very busy the night we went. We were told it would be about a 20 minute wait, but we were seated in 10. Our waitress was cheerful and very attentive. Tried their Olive Swiss Burger and upgraded the meal to include Sweet Potato Fries. The burger wasexcellent and prepared just as I asked for it. The fries were thick, so they were crispy outside, but soft inside, again justhow I like them. I was only able to eat 1/2 of the meal and it was delicious!
