Avaliação da contribuiçãoNot the Haveli I remember. This place used to have some of the best Indian food in the area, but something has changed drastically. The food really lacked in taste, the air conditioning was broken, the service was shortage. I don't know if they have new owners or what happened, but I won't come back. Too bad I have really nice memories of this place.
I came here about 4 years ago, food was AMAZING, service was AMAZING! I probably eat here once or twice a week because it is the closest to my house. I always order online and pay in advance for pickup, and the same lady at the front counter ALWAYS asks me for the name... I tell her my name, then she asks me about proof of the name or order, what, the first time was no problem, but EVERY SINGLE TIME?! So the same happens today. As I wait for my food, a caucasian guy comes for an order for Zack... she gives him the bag, no questions asked. I'll go to the other side of the city before I order from here. My money spends like everyone else. The old owners were much more friendly, like family.
TERRIBLE and rude about her mistake. I ordered food for my son (1 year old) as I am a single mother (father working in another state), who is 8 months pregnant and I'm just too tired to cook him dinner tonight... and especially did not say to make the dish spicy as it is for a small child.. it came and was too hot for me and I am a spicy food person. I called several times (5x) and asked for a refund. The young lady who answered the phone told me on the second to last call I made that she will talk to the boss/owner and ask for a refund and call back in 5 minutes. I waited 15 minutes and hadn't heard of her. I called back the last time and I guess the boss/owner answered. He cut me off and spoke rudely to me when I asked questions. Then went on not to say my problem, call the company (by) after I told him that I did that before they said no about a refund and Uber, but will need an authorization from the restaurant as they had already admitted to their mistake on the phone with me, the first time I called. I was never mean once, even though I should have been since I had an angry toddler who came crazy after me and had a bed within 45 minutes after the order, as they took longer to make the order. They are ridiculous and honest, that could simply be solved by refunding me for the actual court and not the Naan I also ordered that it was cold and hard.
Jalfrezi had only potatoes and peas. The nozzles had a lot of red color, but no salt or spice or taste, onion and fabric on the ground smells red. We're okay, but food was definitely not worth the money. The restaurant place stinked like the public urinal on a mountain. I'm so disappointed, I doubt if I'll ever try again.
Haveli is good for Indian dishes with nice ,quite ambience located in a posh locality of Marietta. Staff and service is good. They don?t have much on the menu but what they serve was good and tasty..one can definitely try plain paratha with mutter paneer if you?re a vegetarian. Though taste is not authentic Indian but you won?t get disappointed by curries. Review update : after long gap again tried this restaurant, the food was awesome, no changes in their ambience though, they should make some changes now,it?s bit old fashioned and very less crowd. Since the food was good and breads were served hot and soft I am satisfied and updated my review from 3 stars to 5 stars now. But guys please make goos changes in your furniture . Your location and sitting with full glass is awesome
