Avaliação da contribuiçãoI didn't find a good rarmen place in marietta, so I decided to go to this one. I was pleasantly surprised! very good broth, delicious rams, yes! I will definitely be back if it is not 95* out!
I had the Katsu Chicken Buns and the Tonkotsu Ramen and honestly it wasn’t great. The buns were good but the sauce just didn’t take good with everything else. The broth for the ramen wasn’t great and neither was anything else really. The noodles tastes store bought, which I understand but the chicken was just odd and the mushroom was not even cooked. Overall, highly underwhelming. Definitely not worth the $22 I paid for it.
We ordered lunch, dine in. Waitress was at a table in the dining room FaceTiming on her phone. I ordered the chicken katsu bun and she asked me 3 separate times what protein. Friend ordered spicy tonkatsu ramen and was given normal had to ask for it spicy again. Waitress seemed distracted and unhappy, dining room was empty save for 1 or 2 other customers. Most orders seemed to be takeout. The chicken was mostly crust , and very little was actually chicken. It was very dry and flavourless, barely any topping or sauce. The ramen was meh. I paid $10 for the buns and my friend paid $14 for her ramen not worth the price. Worst food and service I’ve had in a very long time.
I'd like to leave an actual review of the food, but we walked in at 1pm on a Saturday and there was no hostess/server/front of house to seat us or really any staff around at all. If it wasn't for the clanking of some dishes back in the kitchen, I would've thought the place was abandoned. After waiting with no acknowledgement/sight of anyone who works here, we gave up. Would be willing to update this review if I ever get to try the food.
Called in phone order for 1 Ramen dish, told that it would be about 10 min. Showed up 20 min later to give them time to cook and total time from call to food handoff was 45 min, for 1 dish, and I was the only person at the restaurant. The person at the desk was more interested in playing with one of the three cellphones she was using.
