Eddie's Italian - Marina del Rey

Great, consistent quality food! Love the pizza, chopped salad, eggplant parmigiana, chicken parmigiana and I could go on!!! Highly recommend! Ambiance is plain, but as my 80 year old friend used to say you can't eat ambience! Delicious!

Is Eddie's Marina Del Rey still open? States hours 5 p.m.-9 p.m. I ordered for pickup via Grubhub. Order and payment were accepted. Pickup time was 5:55 p.m. I arrived to eatery location only to find it closed and dark. Same for following day. After 6 p.m. the location was closed and dark. Is it out of business, or staff on extended break? Grubhub states that refund will be made in 5 business days.

I don't think I've ever left a bad review on GrubHub, Yelp, or anywhere. This was one of the most disgusting meals I've ever had. It was clear that the salad had been made yesterday, as it was all wilted and seemed as though parts were frozen. It was gross. Then the bread was stale. But the worst part is was the incredibly dry flavorless meatballs. Believe it or not, I am really one who does not write reviews (and especially bad ones). But this time I felt like whoever prepared my meal actually hated me. Who knows? Maybe he or she did, and your meal will be different. Good luck!

Sadly it is hit or miss. I used to order from here a lot, love the chopped salad and calamari and their pizzas are pretty good. The las few times though the quality wasn't as good . Will give it another try but then will move on if it isn't good.

Food is fresh and tastes great. I support local business. They are doing a great job. My daughter and I had the small chopped salad, a small pizza, and the shrimp dish. Excellent. Will be going again.
