Avaliação da contribuiçãoHatter and the hare never disappoints. Stopped in for lunch. Great service. Picked up two yummy treats for afternoon tea. They were amazing
The (good) attitude of the wait staff probably lifted this overall rating to 3/5. We were twice asked for our feedback and for once, it felt like they genuinely cared/listened. Car Parking insufficient. Needed to park across the reasonably busy road in the pub’s overflow. Was quite busy. Had an interesting breakfast menu (apparently 2 weeks old). My juice was quite good pear/raspberry/mint, and my wife’s coffee was fine. We waited 35 minutes post ordering for our food, watching larger groups who ordered after us get their dishes earlier. And then we learned why…our meals arrived as barely lukewarm other than the poached egg add on for my wife’s fritter meal. Clearly the egg had been initially forgotten by the chef and only started after the rest of the meal was served, Both of our meals had over powering elements nice contributions in their own rights but maybe clashing with, or significantly minimising other elements. This was a shame. I love what this place is attempting. A little tweaking and who knows. Very sadly though, we won’t be back. Lukewarm (at best) for the price…
Excellent!! Great banana bread!! Such a quirky place. Great service and amazing food! Busy but didn't feel crowded or rushed. Great way to spend a Sunday morning.
Food and most of the service was lovely however they took my wife’s coffee while still half full and they were keen to get us out the door.
I went in to buy quite a number of cakes etc and guess what on a weekend is a 10% surcharge. So why would we want to buy from somewhere where you get a surcharge to spend money at the shop. The prices should be altered to the amount including the so called surcharge. I would want people to buy from me all the time and be busy as if i am quite or busy i have to pay the same wages.
