China Rose Chinese Restaurant

I tried to place a simple order six times, but kept getting redirected back to the order page. I could have made myself a good meal and saved time and money. This is not how a business should be run.

Had read reviews and was dubious, but new to the area, we thought we'll give it a go. We were pleasantly surprised. Food was faultless, garlic prawns served onto a sizzle plate at the table was a bonus. Menu is reasonably priced also. Only complaint, atmosphere is lacking. It's ok, but needs some work, even some soft music in the background would be an improvement. We were impressed and will be back. A cheap night out locally with great food.

The food, bland and average, overpriced for the quality, I’ve had better Chinese in the supermarket food court. They have a lot of trouble getting the order right so check everything before you leave.

Paid $66 for food that was disgusting and tasteless. Charged for extra sauce didn’t get it. Sweet and sour pork look and tasted like it was a week old. The fried rice was dry and no taste. Rung only to be offered a $2 refund for the sauce, ended up throwing it in the bin and went and brought macdonalds which tasted better then the slop they gave us.

We were having interstate visitors and thought we'd impress them with takeaway from China Rose. That was our mistake. The Special Fried Rice was tasteless, and the small grain rice was dry. We didn't even try to finish it.
