71 Wharf - Maryborough

Our friends and I visited the deck Anchor for birthday dinner today and it was fabulous! First, the seating was on the deck overlooking the Mary River and boats, cats playing under the deck and the occasional water dragon basking in the sunlight on the river. We ordered drinks, appetizers, nets and deserts and the waiting staff was fast, polite and attentive to our needs or wishes. Finally, the food was delicious, fresh and left nothing to be desired because it was perfect and the menu represented the dishes for perfection. Today there was live music and the talented musicians played a really good collective of old and classics, which during the conversation with good memories of all at the tables. The owners are nice people and we wish them all the good as this restaurant is a must when you visit Maryborough, and if you don't normally visit, take a ride, but book ahead because Covid planning! Good food, fast service, friendly staff and cheap prices! I had a coffee and the hearty mint and can highly recommend it: if you are looking for a food in Maryborough with a beautiful view of the river this is the place.

I like this café because of the views of the river, always consider a coffee or a bite like lunch. Friendly service and never empty, has some vibe, but I never had dinner here, Stopover, when Maryborough, mostly on the way to Brisbane.

New owners but same charm. Always friendly and eager to please. Highly recommend.
