Teriyaki Town - Marysville

I was very impressed and satisfied with this restaurant. The food was delicious and left great flavor on my tastebuds. Great portions, clean restaurant and an amazing kind staff. All those positive checkmarks are what will have me come back to this restaurant and recommend Kyo Teriyaki Roll to my friends and family. The employees made me feel as I was apart of their family which warmed my heart.

Sushi rice was awkwardly mushy, closer in texture to mashed potatoes than rice. Ended up having to throw away all three rolls I ordered because of it. Yakisoba was super bland. Gyoza was gyoza, kind of hard to mess up gyoza. Food was overall fairly low quality for the price, I'd say it was below food court food quality. With how low the quality of the food was, prices should be less than half of their current prices. I would not consider returning and I would recommend other people to stay away.

Been coming to this place going on 9 years. They were here when we first moved to Marysville, we always ordered because it was closest to home. Back then it was always pretty low quality service, always charged for extra sauce, then never actually gave you sauces. I've turned around and gone back to ask for the sauce we paid extra for and got the whole eye roll. But about a year ago they totally changed. Idk if it was management or they got bought, but the food is fire now. Don't charge for extra sauce, always super nice and make sure you grab your sodas for meals. Katsu sauce is way better now too. Favorite dish: cashew chicken. And they're open on Sundays!!!

Kyo Teriyaki has some amazing teriyaki! I got the Spicy Chicken and Beef with no rice (extra salad). They always are sure that each plate is completely full, they don't skimp on the meat. This is my go-to place when I'm in Marysville! Always friendly and fast service. I highly recommend checking out Kyo if you're looking for some good quality teriyaki at a very reasonable price.

The food was not bad, but the service was. I and my family came first to order only to wait half an hour without having any food while other customers who came later already had their food on the table. When we asked about it, the clerk told us it was because our order took longer to cook than other customers'. Even then, we should have been noticed BEFORE other customers, because we came in BEFORE.
