Turkey samosas were very good. My husband got the curried goat and I had the spicy shrimp. I had ordered my entree 5 star spicy... I felt it could have been spicier. The shrimp were perfectly tender; I'm usually hesitant to order shrimp due to a lot of places overcooking them, but they got it just right. I think my husband said his dish could have been spicier as well. Other than that, the food was fast, hot, and great the waitress was nice and we had at least one person from the kitchen come out to check on us. We will definitely come back!
My family and I were actually heading to Texas Roadhouse however since the wait was over 45 minutes, we decided to go to this restaurant instead since it was in the same mall and we could just walk there. I'm very glad that we tried this place! I had the lamb gyro and it was delicious! I had it with the salad, and you know, salad is usually uninspired and dull that I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy and different their salad was. On a scale of 1 to 10 , with 1 being as spicy as milk, and 10 being so spicy hot you are breathing fire, I would rank it a 7. Granted, I'm a wimp when it comes to hotness of food so I might be grading it too high. Those who are accustomed to Indian food would probably find the hotness usual. I would highly recommend the place. The waiter was attentive and I enjoyed the meal. Thank goodness Texas Roadhouse was full!
Our family decided to have our first exposure to Indian food at Soma Grill. The only regret we have is 'Why did it take us so long!!?? '. The owners were so sweet and wonderful. Took time to help us decide what to try and engaged in very pleasant service and conversation throughout. The food is fresh and made to order, and everything from appetizer, to salad, to soup to entree and then desert was fantastic!! We cant sing enough praises and will definitely be making this place a regular stop for our family.
I ate here on a Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM. I was surprised to arrive to find the place empty. The waitress was very friendly and the service was excellent. My meal started with a lentil soup and small salad. Both seemed a little bland for my taste and usual experience with Indian cuisine. I ordered the lamb saag as my entre with the garlic nan. Both items were served cooked fresh and piping hot. Again the spice was a little bland for my taste but had a good flavor. M meal with an iced tea was $20.22 so good value for the amount of food I received. Customer service is great an the food is decent.
I had the chicken Madras at spice level of 4. It was amazing. The food is fresh made to order not your big pot of stuff that's been sitting for hours. Service is amazing. If your looking for some amazing India food that doesn't sit heavy definitely give this place a try.
