Somi Sushi - Matthews

My wife and I eat here frequently, and the food is consistently outstanding. We mostly visit for the sushi, which I highly recommend—it's always expertly prepared, and they have a fantastic selection, especially if you enjoy rolls like I do! The restaurant is located in the Harris Teeter shopping center, but don't be misled by the exterior; I guarantee you'll enjoy great sushi and friendly service!

The Bento box is definitely worth the price. I expected smaller portions, but was pleasantly surprised to find a large bowl of ramen and a full plate of takoyaki. Food: 4/5

I decided to try this sushi restaurant after reading the reviews, and I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh the sushi was. The service was outstanding, even on a hectic Friday night. Although it's a small venue, it's absolutely worth the visit. The prices are quite reasonable, and they have a fantastic selection of Japanese dishes. Thank you to the team; we will definitely be returning!

If you are looking for fresh, high-quality sushi and sashimi in the Charlotte Metro, this is the place. A small, restaurant in Plantation Market located in Matthews, NC. The variety of rolls and specialty rolls are impressive and they never disappoint. Word of caution before making the drive- check on wait time because the restaurant has a handful of tables and seating available. Definitely worth the visit!

I'm absolutely obsessed with the Katsucurry, although I don't put the katsu sauce on it so it's more just the curry I'm obsessed with. I love katsu sauce on its own but the two flavors together are a little strong for me. But the curry has such a strong nostalgic feeling even though I've never been to Japan myself, it's wonderful.Food: 5/5
