Red Lobster - McAllen

Outstanding customer service at this restaurant! The General Manager, Steve, goes above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. Our waiter, Sam, was professional and served us a delicious lobster dinner. The food was hot and served promptly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and inviting. This is definitely a great place to dine with friends, family, or loved ones. Despite the changing requirements due to Covid-19, it was wonderful to be able to dine in. My wife and I felt valued as customers. Remember to tip your waitstaff for their hard work in making your dining experience memorable. It's important to show kindness and appreciation for the effort put into preparing and serving a meal. Give blessings to others and you will be blessed in return. Try this place and ask for Steve, who truly cares about people. Enjoy a meal prepared with a good heart and may God bless you and your family. Peace. We ordered 3 appetizers and 3 different entrees. Everything was hot and delicious. Some of the items were new to the menu since my last visit. I enjoyed everything, especially the lighter tasting biscuits. The service was excellent and deserving of an extra tip. Safety measures were still in place, which we appreciated. We will definitely be returning for another dine-in experience.

I ordered the 'Build Your Own' 3 item meal at this restaurant. The meal included broiled flounder, an Argentina grilled shrimp skewer, a baked potato, and a house salad. To start, I had an appetizer of bacon-wrapped scallops, which were the highlight of the meal. The flounder was tender and tasty, while the shrimp was grilled and needed to be dipped in butter to enhance the flavor as it was a bit dry. The biscuits were delicious. The reason for giving 5 stars? Our server, Pedro. He was friendly, engaging, accommodating, quick, and overall a really nice person. Pedro, these stars are for you.

Customer service was below the average of Host. I was waiting for him to recognize me. Waiting times to get your food are longer than usual. We ordered Cesar Salat and unlimited shrimp special. The salad was okay, not impressed. The shrimps were really good, all versions were delicious. However, be ready to wait more than 10 minutes between each version. Waiter was really nice, but didn't seem to have much experience. He forgot things and had no table label. Overall not impressed. The toilets were dirty.

The Monday endless shrimp was okay, much pricier now, the shrimp spits were delicious, everything else was okay, they had more opportunities on this visit. Their new Argentine red shrimps were delicious, also the parmesan bacon shrimp scampi. The server was friendly but not very attentive, it never offered a beverage refill or cookie refill. Overall a good place if you want to try their shrimps.
