Addison's Steakhouse - McHenry

Our experience was definitely 5 stars! Our waitress was Alison and she was on the point with all her suggestions We started with the chicken avgolemono soup. That was the best soup ever!! It was creamy, with a small lemon, I am so glad that they have this everyday life, every bite was eaten! I had the fillet with the blue cheese thyme butter. The steak was so tender and delicious! Alison recommended the butter taste and it was so good! I also got the potatoes and they were really good with just a little of the blue cheese thyme butter! My friend had the lobster tacos and he enjoyed them. The star of the meal was definitely the fillet! We had the salted caramel brownie for dessert, another proposal from Alison. It was great! I can't wait to go back, it was cheap and the service was great! I will definitely ask Alison to be our server again. Best restaurant experience we had in a long time! Thanks Alison!!! We go to Addison's since it opened, we were there when there was an hour plus waiting to get our food, now depending on what you order within 20 minutes. They are as grown as a restaurant, it is really a great experience with great service and amazing food. I'm so happy that the mchenry finally has a great place to have a nice meal. Last night I had the chicken marsala and it was by far the best I ever had, the chicken melted in the mouth and the sauce was right. Thank you to all Addisons employees for our great experience. A

With friends for a special occasion. the staff was responsive, friendly and not attentive (what was good). the food was excellent! we 3 all had different types of steaks, appetizers and desserts. everything was delicious and perfectly cooked to our order. highly recommended. it is a smaller place, and patience is always good if you really want to enjoy the great food. I wish I lived closer. Thanks to the staff at night to be so great.

We would highly recommend Addisons Steakhouse! The first time in this restaurant and we enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere! Best bet... lobster tacos! Amazingly well done! My dirty Martini was a top-notch! Look at McHenry's people! OBTW Service was great!

The best ribeye I've had, my husband's T-bone was perfection, and the garlic mashed potatoes were excellent! Very friendly staff, quick service, no waiting on anything. I highly recommend giving Addison's a try!
