We wanted to try this trend. The corn cone was too crispy, as soon as you took a bite the whole cone fell apart. The pizza cone was softer and easier to eat. Everything was very tasty. The juice drinks were especially good

Konico is a small fast food joint serving mostly savory food in a corn taco or pizza like bread shaped like a cone; the menu is short, filled with good options, they even offer vegetarian choices, different grades of hot (good one), from thai inspired vegetable mixes to mediterranean, to traditional french like; you have the choice of beef, pork, chicken, different seasonings; they have a limited number of sides and desserts, but that's ok, you go to Konico for the cones; I'd say 1 cone is similar in size to a medium size burger, for a big size appetite you can have 2 cones, for me it was good enough. They serve nice fries with a delicious curried ketchup. I didn't asked for alcoholic, not sure if they have it. Service was nice, fast; have few tables and an open kitchen. It's a nice idea, innovative in this city; price is very affordable dinner for two including tip and beverages was US$14, cones go from $4-$4.5.

Ordered on a food delivery app. Was okay but the portion was super small. Taste was average. Had to order another meal to fill up

Even though this restaurant is very casual (a notch above a fast food place), it was my favorite of many good restaurants we enjoyed in Medellin and nearby. It primarily serves a unique dish called a kono or konico which in English is what it sounds like a cone. Konicos look like ice cream cones but they may contain a wide variety of ingredients and flavors. I had a flour based cone that tasted similar to pizza and a corn based one (sort of like a corn tortilla wrap) that was more like a chicken fajita. The corn cone is firm but flaky tastes fantastic. My wife had one containing a Greek salad she loved it although it was a bit more awkward to eat than the others. We also shared a dessert cone with fruit that was very good. The cones are modestly sized. Most people eat two (or three with dessert). In a good neighborhood with lots of other restaurants and boutique shops. Highly recommend wish we had this in the US. I think it would be very popular listen up, entrepreneurs! Also try the fruit drinks excellent!
