The cupcakes appeared quite ordinary, nothing like the extravagant creations you see in cupcake shops on television. The flavors of the cupcakes were decent, but the cake itself was pretty dry and not very sweet, which some may prefer. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and attentive. I might consider returning, but I’m not in a rush to do so. They definitely need to add more moisture to the cake, as it left my mouth feeling parched and in need of water.
When I called, she quoted me seven dollars for a tub of frosting, but when I arrived to pick it up, she charged me $10.25. While this may not seem like a lot, it adds up when you're buying several tubs. I've previously ordered my wedding cupcakes, wedding cake, and even cupcakes for my baby shower from her, which is why I returned to her business. The younger girl at the counter was much friendlier, making this experience even more frustrating. I understand that everyone has bad days, but it's disappointing to be treated so rudely when I'm supporting a local business. I've supported her multiple times in the past and likely would have continued to do so, but her behavior has left a really sour impression. This will be the last time I do business with her.
The design of our wedding cake was changed without any notification, which was disappointing. We experienced difficulties in communication and encountered several other mistakes as well. After the wedding, we attempted to reach out to discuss our negative experience, but it felt like a back-and-forth argument that made the situation uncomfortable. I understand that everyone can have a tough day, but treating a customer in such an rude manner is unacceptable, especially when I’m trying to support her business. After this experience, I doubt I’ll return again, despite having been a loyal customer in the past.
