Avaliação da contribuiçãoI have many more trips here that this my first time! Loved it! Hard to choose~ everyone Super Satisfied with their selections. Atmosphere perfect. Not High not Low. Far above average We'll be back!
Was looking for a nice Irish corned beef special and I struck luck finding this place. The special was delicious. The service was friendly and great. They had Irish music playing and a very nice crowd. Will definitely come back.
We were staying at the hotel next door and came over to get a late dinner. The place was busy, but there is lots of seating and we were seated within a few minutes. The interior and ambiance were great, with a large bar area and huge table area. The open kitchen is always fun to watch. Our server was attentive and everything came out in good time. We had the fried pickle appetizer, the beet arugula salad, and chicken fingers with fries. All the food was really good. The pickles tasted either homemade or refrigerator pickles. The coating was maybe a little thick, but crispy. These were chips, served with a fantastic spicy remoulade. My picky daughter didn't love them, but I did. If I was hungrier and not dieting, I would have eaten them all! I loved the beet salad. Yellow and red beet chunks surrounded a fresh bed of arugula and greens with walnut sized perfectly fried goat cheese balls and macadamia nuts. It was dressed with a light balsamic vinaigrette. The dressing wasn't strong or oily and I either could have used a little more or maybe I should have used a dash of salt pepper. The salad was great though and I really enjoyed it. The chicken fingers were 4 big pieces of crispy breast meat tenders with good fries. My daughter loved these. This is a great place in Arlington and if ever in the area again, I would definitely stop in!
Brownie ice sundae needs more ice cream service friendly/efficient would go back for the steak tips drinks , leagues away{way better} from the town tavern arlington {AVOID}
Decided to go here before heading into Cambridge for a play. Myself and two friends. The fish chips was atrocious. I couldn't eat it. The absolute worst Fish and Chips I'd ever been served. The batter was thick and full of oil. The fish (if that's even what it was) had no taste (maybe an oil taste) and the texture was horrid. I left the whole thing, and ate when I got home from the play. I can't believe they served this to paying customers. I've had Fish and Chips at Town Tavern and its wonderful. Should have gone there as usual. I'd advise sticking to burgers at Mentomy. I'm still mad about it, not just for the cost of the meal, but for how extremely bad it was. Inedible.
