Avaliação da contribuiçãoWaiting staff good, but front desk staff member not welcoming...Been here twice, gave them some tips on what could improve on our first dining experience, restaurant was new to Hawthorn. Second time, one person in my group was ill after them meal, ate a crumbed pork dish, perhaps a problem only that night, other meals were good. Lots of restaurants to choose from in Hawthorn...
We celebrated a family birthday dinner at ATE ONE EIGHT in Hawthorn Victoria. The restaurant is spacy and comfortable . We could not fault the service and the food was scrumptious. I highly recommend the mushroom risotto.
First time experience, rarely attempt places with three ratings. The good, it's location, ambience a little noisy but buzzyThe bad, thought the dishes were average, despite requesting fish to be cooked through, ours came out undercooked, was returned, just zapped it I guess.Pretty bland food, confused between Italian and Spanish as best I could tell. The ugly, whilst our initial thoughts on service were good, they are over pushy, the plug for dessert started at the beginning and relentless in the end. Quote pricy for what you get. Avoid the Gnocci. With the level of nearby competition, needs to improve, fast.
We dined here in a group, the alcohol service was a little slow to begin with but it got better as the night progressed. The food was terrific, everything we ordered was fabulous - would definitely go back.
Have been here for lunch on a few occasions. The services is great, the decor impressive and the food is lovely. A little on the pricier side but it is well worth it.
