Caterina's has always been a huge favourite of mine. The food is always outstanding. The menu is constantly enticing with the wonderful specials that are fresh and new, every day.So many glorious dishes to choose from. I am never disappointed. I entertain my clients here on a regular basis and Caterina and her staff never let me down. This is my go to place for a great lunch every time.The ambience of this classic pearl is simply lovely. I encourage you to come and experience this delightful restaurant, if you still haven't discovered it. I have been enjoying Caterina's for some 15 years now, and know it will always be an excellent experience for my clients. They too have now fallen in love and frequent it with their loved ones for lovely dinners etc. Thank you Caterina for your consistent high standard and unwavering high quality in food and service. I have had the gnocchi with pork shoulder ragu the last three times I have been there. This dish is divine. The dumplings are light and melt in the mouth and it is very well complimented by the flavourful ragu. My meal companions have been equally delighted by their dishes. This is where is where you go for authentic Italian cooking. Not Lygon St. I will always come back here. Shame that it is not open for dinner. Would be there in heartbeat every month if it was!

We were under time restraints and the food arrived quickly so we weren't rushed. Staff knowledge of menu specials and and wine list were excellent. Our waitress's wine recommendation to match the swordfish on bitter greens was spot on. I look forward to ny next meal there.
