Avaliação da contribuiçãoI am thrilled that this place has reopened! What fantastic news! I absolutely adore the food here, it is all delicious! The prices are very reasonable and the location is perfect. The host is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
This is a regular Indian corner deli that you can find nowadays in many Western cities in Australia, US, and Western Europe. They serve the usual thali platters but also southern Indian dishes like dosas. However, I find the most interesting thing is that they also serve Indo-Chinese dishes here, like "vegetable Manchurian" with rice. Usually these dishes are spicier than the Chinese counterparts. On one visit, I ordered a "vegetable Manchurian with gravy" on rice but found it not as good as those I had in India (These Indo-Chinese dishes are also pricer than others on the menu). In another visit, I ordered sambar with Idlis (Southern Indian rice cakes) and they tasted better. So, I guess it is better to stick with Southern Indian dishes here at Dosa Corner.
I went to this place evening and ordered the food then they told me the menu I ordered is not available . So I ordered other thing in which I could not find salt . Very dissapointing
Low prices but low taste as well. The Dosa taste was play however the schezwan chicken noodles were a joke.
Indian food has been served in a chain store in the Dosa Corner world. They have a few similar restaurants in different locations. The food is cooked in bulk and served in the bay marie. It is a typical Indian food stall with Indian curry served with naan or papadam in trays with different dish indifferent slots. The food is very saucy and very much coconut based. Beware of cholesterol build up if eaten too much. The food is nice if eaten less frequently, like once every few months?
