Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe were having a craving for beef and black bean sauce and honey chicken with fried rice and my goodness our craving was fulfilled! I was highly impressed with the portions for takeaway, there was plenty left over and I'm even planning on going back tonight. Highly recommend.
Wow what an awesome meal we just had! It was the first time we have had take away from here and it sure as hell wont be the last! We had beef in black bean sauce along with honey chicken and special fried rice the beef and chicken just melted in your mouth it was so tender. Extremely fresh food. If I was going to have a negative comment it would be that it was slightly more expensive than other Chinese take away that we have had...It was worth it though! I wanted to lick my plate clean it was such a good meal...
A hidden gem. I was pleased with the service and the food.<br/ Fresh, flavoursome and great sized servings.<br/ To take my rating to a perfect score I'd ask for thinner and lighter batter on the chicken, and some more sauce on the Peking duck (even some on the side), otherwise it was lovely.<br/
These guys should be busier.. Bumped into this local chinese restaurant by accident, decided to sit down and try it out.Servings are excellent, food is actually quite authentic in comparison to the usual chinese places.Peking Duck is fantastic here, definitely worth a stop.
Incredible banquet deal. What is it about great casual Chinese restaurants located in dreadful shopping centres? Eastern Pearl only opened months ago and mostly caters for take away despite a fairly large dining room. We chanced on a Saturday night meal there and got the most amazing banquet “B” deal $20pp. <br/ We got for that (ordered by 3 of us):<br/ large spring rolls (2), grilled dumplings (2) and tempura prawns (2), all very acceptable (more choices available)<br/ a thick jelly like chicken corn soup, delicious and very filling (another vegie/tofu soup available)<br/ 2 Peking duck wraps each, absolutely beautiful and generous with the duck meat<br/ the mains: lemon chicken, honey sesame chicken and sweet sour pork (more mains available). So big, so fresh, so good!! The kids could barely touch the food by then they were so full, yet had to have it it was so good.<br/ dessert: large fried ice cream (layered with berry jam) and banana fritter. Again fresh and more than acceptable, bananas maybe a bit too crispy.<br/ <br/ Clearly the Peking duck, the mains and the desserts were freshly made. The batter had the delicious lightness and crispiness that gets otherwise destroyed by the bain marie. <br/ All of this was served with the most charming smiles. Brilliant, exactly what casual dinner should be.
