Gyoza Douraku - Melbourne

Came here for their Japanese style green tea parfait, because it looks so darn good on YelpSadly, they were out of most desserts items that day.

So I've already broken my "try somewhere new rule" but it was a dinner with friends and I LOVED it here last time & they wanted Izakaya style japanese so

Food was really nice. However was let down by slow service, possible due to a very demanding table nearby. We will certainly visit here again.

3 of us had a late dinner here. All 80 dishes are $6.80, apart from some specials. They range in size from a morsel through to a small starter. we had tuna tataki, udon, 2 types of gyoza, wafu beef, ox tongue, agadashi and more. The food was well cooked albeit with minimal presentation. Attentive service.

Walked in off the street to Gyoza Douraku and was instantly made to feel welcome. Food and service fantastic and great prices! Really good beverage selection.
