This joint has great value, which is rare when you're looking for a wholesome feed in the CBD. I've had their teriyaki beef bowls and their chicken curry katsu bowls. both were tasty and well seasoned. This place is an easy recommend. 5/5

It's rare to find great quality street food for such a low price! The sushi is great but the fish on skewers with rice is delicious and only $5.90 (plus rice)! All right in the middle of town.

Nestled in Capitol Arcade between Swanston St and Howey Place this tiny little cafe is a hive of activity. Grab a seat in the arcade and order at the counter. The waiters run in an out serving food at a great rate. The food portions are very generous and really cheap... and delicious. Love the Japanese curry bowls served with miso soup and the great selection of sushi rolls and rice paper rolls. Definitely worth a try if you are really hungry and in a hurry. Don't be put off by the queue!
