Avaliação da contribuiçãoJust what you expect from an Italian trattoria. Neon lights inside and a nice outdoor area, but somewhat spoiled by far too bright lights. However, very friendly service and excellent food at very reasonable prices. The tagliatelle with courgette and scallops and the seafood pasta were superb as was the bruschetta. Very large portions.
Dante is a staple when I'm back in my home town. The food is good, the portions are huge. Secret tip are his spaghetti allo scoglio.
I AM from Merano, and I have been going there for quite a few years despite the fact that the deco is not quite up to standard with the prices and the fact that this place is mostly famous for its fish which I don 't eat. Why? Simply because I consistently manage to get here the best beef fillet I can find, and I travel quite a lot. Just have it, really, have it rear, the Filettone (300g) is unbelievable. Pasta dishes are quite Italian , so you get some good cacio e pepe which is a typical pasta dressing from Rome, not common in the north of Italy, the amatriciana is good too. I didn 't try many other pastas because of the filettone above: the portions are quite abundant and having pasta and meat is well..for daring people. I can 't say a thing about fish, as I don 't eat it but people in my town mostly go there for it, so it must be good too. Desserts especially tiramisu are good and service is informal and very friendly. The only thing is about the location, as the two rooms become quite noisy when full, so it 's A LOT better when the weather permits them to put the tables outside (roughly march/april to October).
