Great food. The service is very nice and the food has a twist. We had the chilaquiles Kii'wiik and the eggs benedict. Both very very tasteful and at a very fair price. Absolutely recommended!
We have been to Kii'wik several times, both for sit-down breakfasts and take-away baked treats, and we've been thrilled every time. The breakfasts are delicious, combining both American/European treats and Yucatecan dishes. And the bakery is one of the two best in town that we've...found (along with Escargot in the Centro). Worth a special trip.
We came on a weekend morning and loved what we ate. The choices are certainly different than any other places in the city. It was the first time I've seen a bagel on a menu and it was delicious. While it's expensive, the portions are...very large. In hindsight, we would have been fine sharing two pastries and one dish among two people. The chocolate croissants were excellent. The place is a bit pretentious: a Porsche parked on front and clubby dance music playing who wants loud, thumping, music on a Sunday morning? but it wasn't so bad as to distract from the great food and friendly service. Highly recommended.
Twice in our trip. far from the city, but worth the visit because they can taste the most special breakfast toasts they have ever had and the most delicious chilaquiles (mexican breakfast specialities). Take one and go.
