Lido's Pizzeria - Meriden

I will start by saying Italian food is my favorite food. With that being said Lidos is far from authentic Italian flavor. Sauce had a weird canned sauce flavor. you could see no seasoning what so ever in the sauce.. They serve you alot, but its not very good.. Meatballs were big but gray and flavorless as well.. kind of reminded me of the meat balls that come in chef boyardee canned pasta..If you are looking for authentic Italian flavors this is definetly not a good choice.

It is quickly becoming our go to for pizza and italian food.Dietary restrictions: They can and will make a cheese free pizza that is vegan if just veggie toppers are added

One of my favorite go to places. Homey. Great menu. Many entrees. Reliably goooood food!

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I’m 100% convinced this is fake Italian. My girlfriend ordered a meal that had lemon in it but unfortunately she said it was like eating a lemon head. And ordered me chicken Alfredo and that was another dish failed terribly. It was super greasy and it had basically no cheese sauce. the chicken was good but it was fried chicken laid on top. On the positive side I know not to eat there again.
