Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhat this place lacks in atmosphere, makes up with very well prepared chinese food at reasonable prices. Too bad they do not have a liquor license. A cold beer would have been great with the spicy dishes we ordered. Would go again for sure!
I made a reservation for this restaurant and I'm glad I did. When we arrived, all the tables were full! Be cautious with the hot spicy dishes, they are very spicy! I recommend trying their shrimp balls, they were excellent.
Cha is a favourite of mine in the village of Merrickville. Delectable dumplings are a must! Friday & Saturday evenings after 4pm, a dinner feature menu is available and is frequented faithfully by locals, a lovely surprise for tourists. The shrimp rolls, Singapore noodles, pineapple pork, and black bean beef are among my personal favourites and usual selection! CeeCee is a friendly and welcoming hostess, and will happily help you select new dishes to explore!
Delicious food that is well worth the wait; and yes, you will wait.A few items are vegetarian- be sure to ask.We enjoy stopping here for a snack of dumplings, and a yummy soup.Menu changes Friday and Saturday after 4pm.Lots of teas from which to choose.
Located in historical Merrickville is the CHA Tea House. A small Mom & Pop bare bones dining established. A clean and tidy place with friendly service. We started off with the Wonton Soup which was very plain. No extra coutaments were on the table at all. Not even salt and pepper. The grilled vegetarian dumplings more than made up for the plain Jane soup. Others in the group had the Hot & Sour Wonton soup which had just the right amount of bite to make it an enjoyable meal. We would like to go back and try dinner. The tea house has a dozen or so tables but during the summer there is seating in front of the building as well as in the back patio. Parking in this town is always fun as it is a tourist magnet so allow for that when visiting especially during the summer months.
