Avaliação da contribuiçãoSince this is a sister company of Todd English, my expectations were at the same par. And was quite disappointing. Appetiser arrived after we are half way through with our main course. Server's excuse was it took a while to fry the quails' eggs. No apologies. And server was quite arrogant and no effort of recovery for the disservice. Serving is not as generous as their Mother company. Pork chop was tough and small portion. Garlic chicken wasn't enough. Although we did enjoy the salad and the tacos were tasty. Ambience is great. If you ask me if I'm coming back? Not in the near future.
I've passed by this restaurant so many times and have always wondered what kind of food they served. Hubby and daughter are kinda picky so we usually go for the familiar restaurants in the neighborhood but i think I made a great choice for Sunnies cafe because all the food we ordered were spot on, a hit to my picky eaters. I recommend the creamy carbonara, it's very satisfyingly tasty. The stovetop pork chops were perfectly juicy and i loved the shrimp quinoa salad. The perfect ending to this delicious meal comes in a big bowl of love complete with confetti, they call this one Funfetti and it's all creamy milky yummy! Just order it, you'll love it and dream of it the next day!
Location: Lane P, Taguig Food: pasta and dessert Personal Preference: 7 out of 10. Cares for quality. We were not serve the initial cake we ordered due to the soggy consistency. Food is expensive but of course yummy.
The food in Sunnies Café is delicious, but be prepared to wait a while for service. I arrived at 11am for brunch, and was given water and a menu. I quickly decided what I wanted, and put the menu down to make clear that I was ready to order. Five minutes passed, and nobody approached me. I eventually had to flag down a waitress to place my order. The wait for food was quite long as well, which was not hugely understandable as there was not many other customers in the restaurant. When it eventually did arrive, the Crispy Eggs Benny with Norwegian Smoked Salmon was delicious and well presented. Having finished my meal, I pushed away the plate and left a used napkin over it, making it clear that I was ready to go. Again, no service, and I had to raise my hand to ask for the bill.Fantastic food, very pleasant and polite service, but someone needs to light a fire under the staff to get them to get a move on.
This place offers good food. Nothing really spectacular or unique but their bad is above average. We definitely loved their pan-seared miso salmon! The calamari? Average. Same goes for the spicy pomodoro. Though, these are really presentable and insta-worthy (plating looks great!)The interiors, however, pays off to the lack of greatness in food.
