Phattra Thai - Metuchen

We had an excellent meal. The bbq spare ribs were delicious and our pad Thai was one of the best I've ever tried. We found this place by chance and really enjoyed it. If we find ourselves in Mewelen, we will visit again.

This was my first time here, but my sister loves it. I WAS SO GLAD SHE BROUGHT ME!! I love this place, the decor is awesome and it's bigger than you think, there are two dinning area. The food was delicious not too spicy but you can make it as spicy as you can handle. I wish I remembered to take pic of my Basil Duck but I was so hungry but the presentation to great and the duck was tender and not greasy and to top it off this is a BYOB...will definitely be a repeat costumer!!

My husband and I Love Thai food. Since Phattra came onto the scene, it has been our absolute favorite! One of the biggest positives for a restaurant... it is consistent with it 's flavor and quality! We spent a few weeks in Thailand, had amazing food, and Phattra food matches the great quality we experienced in Thailand. The spice/flavor is well balanced, the vegetables are cooked well but still fresh and crunchy. The noodles are not overcooked (we 've seen many Asian places turn big flat noodles into mush . I 'm also a fan of Thai iced tea and they do an excellent job without skimping on drink size. (I 've seen other places fill the whole glass with ice but very little tea . Their curries each have different flavor profiles and are wonderful. They are not overly spicy (unless you request it , and pair so nicely with the fresh steamed rice. If you don 't think you are a curry person , I still recommend giving it a try. It 's basically some extra sauce on your rice ; We moved an hour away, and will place to-go orders when we 're in the area to stock at home But if you are in the area, I recommend going inside. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with hanging golden leaves, pictures from Thailand and other cultural decorations that make for a lovely experience. I would try any dish from this restaurant and look forward to visiting again

We made a reservation but they didn’t have enough seating so they sat us in the back but we asked to wait longer to be seated in the main seating area. Overall the experience was good and food was amazing.

Our go to place most Friday nights! Excellent food always! My husband loves that if you ask for it spicy, it actually is made spicy, unlike many other places. Highly recommend!
