El Theatris - Metz

Excellent food and wine, good service, great view just away from the crowds.It is expensive, but worth it. Well presented dishes.

Our last night in Metz we decided to eat in el theatris. We choose the three course menu. The dishes were great. There was only one thing, they forgot to remove the string from the beef. Almost swallowed a piece.

The dishes were very good and the information on the dishes and wines was satisfactory. I just deplore the waiting we had at the beginning of the meal. Indeed, we arrived at 8:00 p.m., our order was only taken at 8:40 p.m. for the first dishes to arrive at 9:00 p.m. The pass of the chef at each table at the end of the evening is something that seemed very good to us.

Spent a weekend night, unfortunately the restaurant was full. that says the server that informed us could with great benefit take elementary politeness courses. hoping that the rest of the personel is more friendly with customers. I'm not going to make a second attempt to dine there.

This restaurant probably doesn't need my opinion to attract gourmets from the area or elsewhere. But I like to say that this address is one of the best metz tables. its location on the square of the comedy and facing the cathedral adds to the standing of the place. refined cuisine and combining flavors is delicious. Bravo to the chief nicolas and his team. The tuna duo is to fall! to discover and rediscover.
