Jim's Krispy Fried Chicken - Mexia

Jim's service and food are excellent. They serve hot and fresh dishes with generous portions at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend Jim's to anyone traveling to or passing through Mexia.

I decided to try this restaurant for the first time after hearing great things about it. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they offered dine-in service. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and gravy, which were delicious. I also got a two-piece meal to go and tried a bite of everything in the car. The fried chicken was exceptional, the best I've had in a while. The fries were also tasty and complemented the chicken well. I felt like I definitely got my money's worth. I am impressed and will definitely be a regular customer from now on. Great job, I'll be back for sure!

I drove from Waxahachie to get the best chicken around...

Mostly young adults working. And I do mean working! Fast and efficient. Best chicken ever. I go every time I'm in Mexia. Very friendly service

Undercooked chicken 2nd time trying it and it was horrible, even Louisiana hot sauce didn’t do it justice wow super lame please don’t go here
