Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe pizza we ordered was undercooked and overly doughy. When we tried to speak with the manager about it, the hostess was incredibly rude. We asked for her name, but she just hung up on us. Then, she had the audacity to call us back and ask for our name again, only to laugh and hang up once more. Someone really needs to address the behavior of that hostess, Ruth. I cannot recommend this place at all.
It's heartbreaking to see it close. For many of us in the Sierra foothills, this place was a cherished childhood memory. We'll miss it dearly.
The restaurant is open, but it has changed its name. The pizza was fantastic, and I also enjoyed the $2.50 pints of original Coors!
We've been enjoying Pie in the Sky Pizza for over 20 years, and there's nothing better than coming off the slopes to indulge in a hot pizza from there. The pizzas are huge and incredibly filling. So, I was really disappointed when I found out they had closed down. However, on our next visit, I saw that they had reopened under a new name, so we decided to give it a shot. The restaurant looks fantastic now—it's been very nicely renovated inside. The staff and owners were also very welcoming. The pizzas have changed a little; they are noticeably smaller than before, but they still taste good. However, the prices felt a bit steep for what you receive. I will definitely go back, but I hope they consider lowering their prices a bit.
Fabulous fabulous food!!! Everyone was super friendly but our pizzas came out 20 min apart from each other. It was also obvious that they needed someone to run the register that wasn't also cooking but all was forgiven when my food came. Yummy :
