Avaliação da contribuiçãoLooks like a taqueria an authentic taqueria. The menu is simple. The prices are $6.49 for one steak tacos and $4.49 for Al pastor. We ate about 3 each plus an appetizer, The steak tacos was good but a little too spicy. The Al pastor was good.
I really was looking forward to this place after watching it get built out every morning on my drive. We were working in the area and needed to feed our crew of 30. We placed a very large order and when we arrived with only 12 people they would not let us sit in any of the open and empty tables so we could order drinks and more appetizers. I was confused but we obliged after spending a lot of money to pre order this food and sat my adult crew on these small chairs (the kindyou find in a kindergarten classroom) while the location was empty. Other crew members decided to go to the taco spot in the MIA MARKET instead of sitting on kid sized chairs eating at a counter that comes up to your thigh. Let's talkfood. The asada was a little over cooked and chewy, the pastor did not taste like pastor and the tortillas were definitely not handmade or fresh. They kept breaking when you would bend them with the fillings. The poor waitress that hadto fumble over is in a corner to get our drink orders was kind and hard working. Not sure what they plan to do, but you can level out mediocre food with excellent customer service. Especially when sao many people come to Miami to filmshows over the summer and locals like myself like to give that business to local restaurants.
As always excellent, Miss Olga took care of me in the best way.
We come every week , my daughters love it friendly staff and great food
I tried to order online to go pick it up, but the process is absolutely impossible! It makes you sign in. It sends a code to your email, then you have to enter your phone number and it sends a code to your phone. But it would not accept the code, even though an iPhone automatically cuts and pastes it to the website. So I gave up and walked in to order. That’s reason #1 for 4 stars. Once we entered, they wanted us to fill out the menu- like a sushi shop. The problem is that they don’t have everything on the menu that they have online. Like the platos, which is what we wanted. So the waitress just put our order into her little pocket computer. They also HAD watermelon juice in the store, but did NOT have it online. So, they need to figure that out too. The food is good. The esquites were so-so. The servers were all very nice. The second reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because this is crazy expensive. Our total for 3 people was over $100 after tip. EACH taco is $6-8! It’s a much better deal to get the platos. For $16-17 you get 3 corn taco shells, and the meat to go inside, plus rice and black beans. It was also $1.50 for a side of pico de gallo.
